Followup on https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/133025
As of now the openQA-in-openQA test calls the os-autoinst-setup-multi-machine script,
but only checks that it runs through without failure.
Still afterwards only a single test is executed.

The testsuite should be extended to run a real multi machine job to verify that the
setup created by the script works.

openQA Project - action #138263 (New): Strip unneeded code from os-autoinst-setup-multi-machinehttps://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1382632023-10-19T09:15:15Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

Looking at os-autoinst-setup-multi-machine it seems that there are some steps done, that are not actually necessary.
Apart from the obvious (setting up the firewall and then overwriting some previous changes by overwriting the zone xml)
there are some services (isotovideo) set up in the firewall config that might not be needed,
as we set the zone to target=ACCEPT anyway.

When not setting target=ACCEPT it might even lock us out from SSH access,
from what it looks like.

openQA Project - action #129673 (New): Change the default of the video encoder options in os-auto...https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1296732023-05-22T11:16:36Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

In https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/77842 we change the default of the video encoder options everywhere.

If we change the default everywhere, it could make sense to change the default in the openQA/os-autoinst code.

openQA Project - action #126800 (New): Add keyboard shortcuts on the openqa job pagehttps://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1268002023-03-28T11:38:37Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

eg. for cloning the job or for toggling the "Show only failures" checkbox.
This would make review easier.

openQA Tests - action #110635 (New): [qe-core] Improve rpi realhw worker setuphttps://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1106352022-05-04T13:24:24Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

Currently the setup looks like this (there is also a photo):
https://confluence.suse.com/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=~dheidler&title=Hardware+Automation

The worker host should get replaced with a machine with more RAM (eg. a RPi4B with 8GB RAM) or with a Server with an HDD where the images can be stored, instead of using the current NFS workaround (I don't save the images on the sdcard of the RPi400, because that would break the sdcard too fast).

Also after the office move the whole setup should be put into a rack wich might require something like this.

openQA Project - action #110587 (Closed): Images in test result overview as well as live view are...https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1105872022-05-03T15:59:33Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

Eg the image at https://openqa.suse.de/tests/8682367#step/firstrun/4 is a 1024x768 px PNG.
I can copy it and paste it into gimp and it will be sharp.

But openqa webui displays it is displayed too large resulting it being scaled and being blurry.

The canvas has actually the resolution directly in html:

<canvas width="1024" height="768">

... but the debugger reports 1026x770px when hovering in the inspect element mode over the canvas.

This also only happens in chrome based browsers like chromium and vivaldi, but not in firefox.

I also recall this to having worked properly in the past, so this is a regression.

openQA Project - action #105771 (New): During Live view sometimes no results of a finished module...https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/1057712022-01-31T20:10:16Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

openQA Project - action #90545 (New): Add additional option for build sorting within a jobgrouphttps://progress.opensuse.org/issues/905452021-03-31T10:22:35Zdheidlerdheidler@suse.com

There has been a reset of the JeOS build counter for SLE15SP3 which brings some challanges to the openQA webui because sorting by build number is not feasible anymore. There is an option to sort by the newest job that is contained in a build but that has flaws as well.

Eg at https://openqa.suse.de/admin/job_templates/131 I can select in the jobgroup settings the following sorting options: Sort by build value (as a version) and Sort by time job most recently created. It would produce more stable results if there was a 3rd option Sort by time job least recently created. That would not mess with the build order if there is a rebuild of a job in an older build triggered.

So I want to sort the builds in the jobgroup by the oldest job that this testsuite contains.
This will make the sorting order much more resilient against manual rebuilds of single jobs in older builds.
