openQA Tests - action #91554 (Feedback): [qem][leap][opensuse][qe-core] Update GM images before r...https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/915542021-04-22T05:49:23Zmgrifalconi

Problem
On Leap, but possibly in other versions as well, we are using some old fixed GM images to run upgrade tests.
Example here https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1702657#settings

For example upgrade_Leap_15.2_gnome etc at https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/overview?distri=opensuse&version=15.4&build=167.2&groupid=50

Reasoning
It would be common sense to migrate an updated system and not a very old one. We should consider updating the image before running the migration test.

Additional info
Conversation here https://chat.suse.de/channel/qe-core?msg=F9jaJXj4DmPxqeRJ4

See also comments at https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/107965

Acceptance Criteria

AC1: Before running migration tests, apply all updates. Use an old image as the beginning, therefore both testing updating all updates and a distribution version update (migration).

openQA Tests - action #67357 (Feedback): [qem][packageinstallation][qe-core] Add validation step ...https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/673572020-05-27T12:52:37Zapappas

This relates to #65666 in that a check should be made on whether the installation succeeded, according to the following criteria.

All the L3 binaries of the packages contained in the incident are installed and their version number has changed.

All the L2 binaries of the packages contained in the incident are installed and their version number is ignored.

New L2 and L3 binaries are installed after applying the update.
The status of unsupported binaries is logged, but does not affect test failure or success.
L2, L3 and unsupported are levels as exist in the SUSE:Channels.

This does not change the way an update is installed.
