  • Category set to Servers hosted in Provo
  • Private changed from Yes to No

I'm afraid that's a well-known problem - the services running in Provo (bugzilla and forums) have "random" logouts and sometimes other problems. We still hope that MF-IT gets this fixed, but based on my experience with them, my hope is limited :-(

In the meantime, I can only recommend to try again. Some people also reported that clearing cookies (or using a private browser window) helps.

It's sad that nothing could be done. Now bugzilla returns MySQL connection error:

Server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.

Error message:
Can't connect to the database. Error: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'claude.provo.novell.com' (111) Is your database installed and up and running? Do you have the correct username and password selected in localconfig? ,

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

The database problem is/was a different issue and was fixed surprisingly fast, see ticket #54818. Nevertheless, thanks for reporting it!

  • Status changed from New to Resolved

I will close this as resolved as these services function again.
